Nicole Miller's palatial 3, 200-square-foot Tribeca loft is a minor modernist's paradise—a stark stylistic contrast towards designer's strong, futuristic clothes. But minimal does not mean dull, and Miller's house is anything but: The three-bedroom residence, in which she life along with her husband, child, and Rhodesian Ridgeback Godzilla, is filled up with light at each place along with bold and colorful art on every wall surface.
The space was created by the late modernist architect Daniel Rowen, and functions large arched windows overlooking the newly-finished One World Trade Center. Pristine white walls comparison completely with Miller's daring black colored hardwood flooring. "It is more interesting because of the dark floor, " she states, noting that she also painted her showroom floors to suit. But it's only a few black-and-white.
